If you want to sell stock photos on photo-direct.net you can publish your stock photos in any one of the 4 categories of photos that photo-direct.net's database supports:

1) Public View stock photos

2) Breaking News stock photos

3) Private View (password required)

4) Personal View (viewable only by the photo's owner)

Each one of these categories of photos has many data fields that are searchable, which makes finding stock photos a breeze. This is like having your stock photos stored in the photo bank of a stock photo agency, only here it is much quicker and easier for photo buyers looking to buy photography to find the "just right" stock photos they want, which will increase photographers' chances of selling their stock photography.

Before uploading your photos onto photo-direct.net site, you need to know the following:

1) Ensure that your photos are in a JPEG or GIF file format with a MAXIMUM resolution of 600x600 pixels (any file larger than the prescribed maximum will be rejected by the system). Our system will then automatically generate a 200x200 pixels thumbnail photo for listing in search results. When the user clicks on the thumbnail photo, your original 600x600-pixel photo will be displayed in a separate pop-up window.

2) We accept horizontally as well as vertically-oriented photos.

3) As a deterrent to any unauthorized use of your stock photos, photo-direct.net has disabled the SAVE function when right-clicking on the mouse, and when your photo is displayed in the pop-up window, we also prevent people from saving it.

When a photo buyer is interested in buying a stock photo, he will contact the owner of the stock photo directly by either e-mail, phone or fax. photo-direct.net does not take any commission on your sales, nor do we get involved in your negotiations with photo buyers.

WARNING

photo-direct.net does not allow any of the following content to be published on our site:

• Content of a pornographic or sexually explicit nature.
• Content of an illegal nature (including stolen copyrighted material).
• Content that could be reasonably considered as slanderous or libelous.

photo-direct.net members posting any of the above content in their environment will be given a 48 hour grace period to take corrective action. If no corrective action is taken within the given grace period, the member account will be automatically cancelled without appeal or refund of any subscription fees paid.
